Stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end of a round

Blue (Stylecraft Natural DK Bamboo + Cotton, Sky (7142), 60% Bamboo 40% Cotton, 100g)
Pink (Rico Essentials Cotton DK, Pearl Pink (55), 100% Cotton, 50g)
Skills required / abbreviations / info
MG – magic ring (make specified number of single crochet stitches into the loop)
Sc – single crochet
Inc – 2sc increase (crochet 2 single crochet stitches into the same stitch)
Dec – 2tog decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
BLO – back loops only
FLO – front loops only
CH – chain stitch
F/O – finish off
R – spiral round
Row – row
( )* – repeat the sequence in brackets to the end of the round
(12) – number of stitches expected at the end of the round
Work in spiral rounds, do not turn/join unless stated otherwise

Make 1 sl st to the next stitch to even out the lid. F/O and leave longer tail for sewing.
Stuff with polyester filling top of the lid only (just for now).

Make 1 sl st to the next stitch to even out the teapot, F/O and cut off yarn.
Insert safety eyes between rounds 9 – 10, within a distance of 6 holes (count holes between the stitches).
Using needle and a piece of pink yarn, make cheeks (cheeks can also be made at the very end, once all pieces are assembled). Stuff with polyester filling.
Using needle and a lid’ sewing tail, attach lid to the teapot – BLO to BLO only (before sewing is finished, leave a little hole and stuff the lid properly. Close when teapot and a lid are fully stuffed).

Make 1 sl st to the next stitch to even out the spout. F/O and leave longer tail for sewing. Stuff with polyester filling. Attach spout to the teapot where rounds 11 – 15 are.
HANDLE (colour blue)

Row 1 starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, make sc 16, turn (16)
Row 2 CH 1, sc 16 (16)
F/O and leave longer tail for sewing. Sew one end of the handle to round 13, then the other end where round 8 is (counting from the bottom of the teapot).
