FREE CROCHET HEART PATTERN

Easy to make free Amigurumi Heart pattern. Enjoy!

Size:

• 6cm / 2.36 inch in height

Tools:

• crochet hook size 3.00 mm

• scissors

Materials:

• New Fashion DK by Woolcraft: Mexican Rose (488), 100% Acrylic, 100g

• Polyester filling for toys

Skills required / abbreviations / info:

• Magic ring (crochet specified number of single crochet stitches into the adjustable loop)

• Sc (single crochet)

• 2sc increase (crochet 2 single crochet stitches into the same stitch)

• 2tog decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)

• Sl st (slip stitch)

• F/O (finish off)

• Work in continuous spiral, do not turn or join, unless stated otherwise

• Sewing parts together

HEART

1) Magic ring, 6sc (6)

2) 2sc in each stitch (12)

3) 1sc, 2sc – repeat to the end of row (18)

4) 1sc in next 8 stitches, then 2sc in next stitch – repeat to the end of row (20)

5) 1sc in each stitch (20)

Once part is completed, F/O and cut off yarn. Next, make second, exactly the same part by repeating rows 1 – 5. Once second part is finished, don’t cut off yarn – instead join both parts with sl st.

Now, when both parts are made and joined, continue making heart.

Stuff heart with polyester filling.

6) 1sc in next 20 stitches (around first part), then 1sc in next 20 stitches (around second part)

Don’t count sl st as a stitch (ignore it) (40)

7) 1sc in next 18 stitches, then 2tog – repeat to the end of row (38)

8) 1sc in each stitch (38)

9) 1sc in next 17 stitches, then 2tog – repeat to the end of row (36)

10) 1sc in each stitch (36)

11) 1sc in next 4 stitches, then 2tog – repeat to the end of row (30)

12) 1sc in each stitch (30)

13) 1sc in next 3 stitches, then 2tog – repeat to the end of row (24)

14) 1sc in each stitch (24)

15) 1sc in next 2 stitches, then 2tog – repeat to the end of row (18)

16) 1sc in each stitch (18)

17) 1sc, 2tog - repeat to the end of row (12)

18) 1sc in each stitch (12)

19) 1sc, 2tog - repeat to the end of row (8)

20) 2tog to the end

F/O and hide remaining thread into the heart.
